The University offers a bachelor of fine arts (BFA) in interior architecture design that prepares graduates to be future leaders and innovators in the global design industry.
Indiana State's Interior Architecture Design Program offers a dynamic and progressive curriculum supported by top-notch facilities, frequent field trips, an active professional advisory board, and a faculty of practicing designers and scholars from around the world. Our graduates can be found successfully practicing interior design from California to New York as well as abroad.
Interior designers are employed by interior design and architectural firms, corporate facilities management offices, governmental offices, trade showrooms, and exhibit design offices in museums, or they may work freelance.

In addition, the Interior Architecture Design Program is accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (formerly FIDER) and the National Association of Schools of Art & Design (NASAD).
Students have many sources of financial support for their studies, including financial aid, work-study programs, veterans' benefits, and special scholarships for entering freshmen and transfer students.
